You will be offered service and an inspection on all of the items you have purchased annually between November 1st and January 31st. Brandy will call you to schedule this by area according to your zip code. This 3 month timeframe is the ONLY time we come out for regular annual service (preventive maintenance) in order to be efficient and productive. You do not need to be home for this, we are trying to get as many houses done in that area each day. If your day happens to land during your vacation time or a day you can’t be there you are welcome to leave a check, or pre pay with Zelle, Venmo or a credit card. If you don’t respond and miss your day, but still want us to come out on a different day there will be an additional $99 fee added to the service fee as you will be contacted at least a week in advance. This schedule not only keeps the initial cost of your crawlspace affordable but it also keeps the annual service cost the same each year. Servicing your crawlspace systems is equivalent to servicing your car with oil changes, and tire rotations. You are protecting your investment. This will ensure that your systems continue functioning at their potential long after any warranty has expired. Brandy is not calling to harass you but to encourage you to service your dehumidifier, sump pumps, etc., in addition to reporting any issues we may find such as dryer vent issues, waste lines leaking, plumbing leaks or drips, electrical issues, etc. This isn’t just to service the equipment we installed, but rather to look over your entire crawlspace once a year. You may choose to service this yourself, which is not a problem at all. As long as you document this with photos, and dates serviced your manufacturer's warranty will stay intact.
Please understand if your system stops working while we are not in that annual service window, we will help you trouble shoot any issues (a tripped GFI outlet), if that doesn’t help we will be there to get it working again or installing a new one as long as there is proof of service. This is considered emergency service, not preventative. Depending on the issue there may be a minimum service fee of $99 just as any other service based company will charge. For example we paid $130 for an HAVC company to tell us we cut our unit off in the middle of the defrost cycle because we happened to catch it humming and thought something was seriously wrong. Example of an actual emergency issue: It is July and 100 degrees outside, with 100% humidity, and your crawlspace is muggy. We will 100% be there within 24 hours of your phone call to service or replace the dehumidifier on the spot. BUT if all that was wrong was you needed to press your reset button on your GFI because it tripped, that will cost $99.
We hope all of our customers or any potential customers don't take offense to this as it is nothing more than a guide of what you can expect from us and we expect from you to keep your crawlspace as close to the day we left it as possible.
